A conveyor belt went up in flames at a glass recycling factory.
Two workers had to be evacuated during the blaze at Viridor Glass on Lancots Lane in Sutton.

Firefighters had to enter the unit, at 2am on Wednesday (October 1), wearing breathing apparatus.

The blaze is believed to have started when the machine's engine overheated.

It took crews an hour to tackle the fire, which caused extensive damage.
No one was injured.
