Flat blaze in Sutton

A flat was left damaged by smoke after a pan of food caught fire on Tuesday lunchtime (December 2).
Fire crews were called out to a ground floor flat in Ambergate Close, Sutton, shortly before 1pm.

They remained at the scene for just over half an hour. It is believed no one was hurt in the blaze.
