A huge cannabis factory has been discovered at a house in St Helens.
Police raided an address on Pocket Nook Street, Parr, on Monday afternoon (October 6) and found 300 cannabis plants laid out over four rooms around the property.

They also removed a sophisticated heating and lighting system. Inquiries are ongoing to locate the people behind the operation.

Superintendent Peter Edge said: "Control drugs bring misery to many members of our communities and we will continue to take positive action against those involved in their use distribution or production.

"I would urge members of the community should they have any suspicions about premises people or vehicles to contact the police direct or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
